I’m a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it.
– Thomas Jefferson
When someone is “lucky” or “in the right place at the right time”, that happens a reason. It‘s because the recipient worked and prepared, in advance, to take advantage of an opportunity that came his way and took action when it did. Maybe he made the effort to research how to do something or had the courage to speak up to someone or made a phone call on a lead that paid off big time. People who make a little extra effort everyday usually end up being the luckiest people we know. Why not become one of those people? Give a little extra effort everyday this week. You don’t have to be Irish to be lucky; you just need to be prepared for opportunities when they come your way and take action when they do.
