Habits are hard to break aren’t they? Making yourself do something that you don’t normally do takes self discipline and effort. But it’s just a little extra effort that makes all the difference. When faced with something you don’t want to do, what comes to mind is; I’ll do it tomorrow or I’m tired or I really deserve to relax and take it easy. No you don’t! You deserve to get what you want and to reach your goals! You know you need to do it, so don’t put it off, just do it now. We all have it in us to push ourselves just a little bit more. Make one more sales call, spend a few more minutes on the treadmill, or give that article one more revision. You are worth it! This week don’t let yourself off the hook! Do some serious self talk and make yourself expend that extra effort. It will pay off. The only thing holding you back is YOU.
