You work your body hard everyday. You put it under major stress and strain for sometimes up to, or over, 16 hours a day. The pressure on your joints for hours on end coupled with who knows what kinds of germs and bacteria can really wear you down. You make demands on your body for everything you can do and some things that you can’t. Let your body have 8 hours of rest, it’s earned it. It needs time to recover and heal; especially your muscles and joints. Also, your immune system cannot always be stretched to its limits, it needs to be strengthened again to be effective. Listen to your body, it has a way of letting you know when it is worn down and fatigued. Give it the rest it needs. This week, do everything you can to get your 8 hours of sleep. Your body and mind will love you for it!
